We had so much fun this Christmas hanging out with family. I especially loved having my brother Paul, his wife Casandra, and their son Erik from Idaho.
My nephew, Erik is the cutest thing on this planet! I had so much fun playing with him during their visit. I was so happy that he remembered me and even said my name. I love this kid so much. Don't worry, Erik, I won't love you any less when my daughter comes. I'll just love her in a different way:)
At first, Erik was pretty apprehensive around my parents' cat, Squishy. But by the time they left, Squishy was his best friend.
This is my favorite! These are all of Katee's homemade flower hair clips. Erik was so good to just let me put them in his hair and then take pictures. What a cutie! I'm really glad that his dad didn't get mad at me. I mean, this is the brother who has always said that "cute is a four-letter-word." I'm glad he wasn't mad that I cutified his son for a minute. Paul and Sandy laughed pretty hard with me.
We got some cool Tennessee cards for Nerts from Laurie. Paul and Sandy are my favorite Nerts buddies. I'm glad we made sure that we played while they were here.
I love my family in Idaho. I hope to see you soon!

Aw cute! This is my favorite post of yours! :) We loved spending so much time with you too. We're planning on coming to see you after Alia is born, so Apr or May, whichever is better with Paul's school schedule. But don't let that stop you from coming up to see us. You're always welcome!
We sure love you. I'm so glad we were able to come down. I guess I'm okay that you cutify my son as long as you don't say "Oh, how cute." How about "What a cool kid." Anyway, we loved spending time with you and I am glad you understood my deep thoughts. It was fun to talk.
Paul and Casandra, we definitely need to coordinate our visits to Clinton to see Alia so we will be there at the same time and have a super Nertz game.
By the way, the picture with the flower hairclips is my new screen background. "How cute!!"
