My Student's Recital

I recently had a voice recital for all of my voice students.  Unfortunately, I held the recital on memorial weekend so not all of my students were able to be there:(  This is a picture of all of my students who did participate, minus one student who had to step out right after the recital ended.  Good lookin' group of kids though, huh!  FYI, all of these students but one (he's going to Layton high school and has been cast in their musical with a speaking part!) have been cast in Northridge's upcoming performance of Beauty and the Beast.  The girl on my right will be playing the part of Belle, the girl to my left, the part of Babette, and the tall young man in black right behind me will be playing the part of Monsieur Darque (pronounced Dark).  While the rest will be ensemble members.  Yeah, I'm just a little bit proud.  I will be the music director for this production and we will be doing this show in November for anyone who wants to come and bring their little princesses along.

Wow, what an accomplishment. You are proud of them; I am proud of you, sweetheart.

Isn't it great to be doing what you love and to be able to make a career out of it?

I am sure that student teaching this fall will be a blast.

By the way, love the long hair. You are beautiful.
