As most, if not all, of you know, Nick and I are doing a show right now. We have been super busy rehearsing and now performing 'The Scarlet Pimpernel.' Nick is the title character and phenomenal! So, if you are able, I highly recommend you drop by the Terrace Plaza Playhouse in Washington Terrace on any Monday, Friday, or Saturday for a super good show. It's got amazing costumes, hilarious characters, heart break, sword fighting, and public executions by guillotine! What more could you want in a show?! Here's the little bug at 6 months. Can you believe she's been around for just over half a year?! It seems like it took so long to get her here and then when she finally came, she's just growing up way too fast! At her 6 month appointment, the doctor held her head down to check her ears, which she did not like. So much so, that she commenced in chewing out the doctor for probably a good 5 minutes. She was really making the doctor laugh. "Boy, she know what she wants, doesn't she?" He said. She came in at 17 lbs 5 oz and 26 1/2 inches. That works out to be about in the 75% range. I'm so surprised we don't have a 90% or above baby because of how big the babies in our family usually are. But we are perfectly happy with how she is developing and growing. She loves to jabber. She says dada quite a bit and has just recently started saying mama. Unfortunately she doesn't know what she's saying yet but it is fun to imagine she is calling us mama and dada. ShaRee says that she also says baba, but I've never heard it. Stubborn girl is only performing for ShaRee. She also LOVES to scream. It is really cute except when we are at church. It's gotten to the point where one of us just has to roam the halls with her during sacrament meeting and classes because she is SO LOUD. She rolls all over the place, but no crawling yet, but we are working with her. The poor girl never gets her toys put right next to her anymore. We put them just out of reach with the hope that she will want them enough to just scoot on over and get them. But mostly right now she just gets mad.
Nick now has a much better wig, just in case you were really grossed out by that other one in the video. Because, well, honestly we were grossed out too.
During rehearsals, we brought Alia who seemed to enjoy hanging out with lots of people and the cast just fell in love with her. Now that the show has started, Grandma JuLee, Tutu, and ShaRee rotate watching our sweet girl. The cast misses her a lot and often ask when they are going to get to see her again. I'm glad I have a baby that people like to see, and not one that just annoys everyone but her parents!

Such a cute little family you've got there, Jamie!
That is a great family picture. You guys all look so beautiful, yes even Nick :)
Erik was doing the same things at this stage too. The momma and dada and weighed 18lbs, so just a pound more than Alia, so she's right there with her cusin :)
Miss you guys!
Hey, that's a GREAT picture of the three of you!!! You should frame it. :)
I just love the headbands.
You guys are so beautiful! I can't believe how big Alia is - and how darling. And I just have to tell you - I'm so happy you're doing The Scarlet Pimpernel. I think some of my best memories of Nick are him as the Scarlet Pimpernel. That high school musical is defined by him. :-) So fun! Enjoy!
